Still recovering from the "extreme allergic reaction" that put her in the hospital, Miley Cyrus has decided to postpone the remaining dates of her Bangerz tour in the United States. The Associated Press confirmed on Friday that the "Wrecking Ball" singer will resume the tour in Uniondale, New York on August 1st, following the uninterrupted European dates beginning on May 2nd.

Family Members Refuse To Allow Cranes To Lift Sunken South Korean Ship
Relatives of about 270 people missing and believed to be trapped inside a ferry that sank off South Korea expressed outrage on Saturday and refused to allow cranes to lift the ship, fearing for the safety of any survivors. Coast guard official Ko Myung-seok said, more than 650 divers are trying to reach the inside of the Sewol, which fully submerged below the surface of the water Friday night. The water is murky, and divers who have spotted bodies have not been able to reach them because they cannot break open the windows of the boat.

Earthquake Strikes Off Papua New Guinea
The U.S. Geological Survey says an earthquake struck late Saturday off Papua New Guinea's eastern coast with a preliminary magnitude of 7.5. The quake struck at 11:27 p.m. local time, 9:27 a.m. eastern and occurred at a depth of 19 miles. It was centered 47 miles southwest of Panguna, Papua New Guinea. After the quake, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued a tsunami warning for Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands, but then canceled it.
